Renewable Exchange welcomes James Strong as the new Chief Operating Officer
James Strong assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer at Renewable Exchange, the leading online PPA marketplace and data insights platform for renewable energy generators.
Following another year of accelerated growth despite the uncertainty in the energy sector in 2022, Renewable Exchange gears up for their international expansion and new product launches in 2023.

James Strong brings a wealth of experience in leadership and business operations across a range of industries from energy to specialty consumer products. His background in commercial and marketing, operational and financial departments offers a wide range of knowledge and hands-on skills developing brands, products and, crucially, effective strategies for growth.

Prior to joining Renewable Exchange, he was a Director at Colonna Industries Group and Chief Operating Officer at Colonna Coffee. James worked closely with the founder and board to grow business capabilities and open up new markets to drive the Group’s expansion. Following a 2-month career break to travel across South America, James returns to the energy sector joining Renewable Exchange in the Bristol office. At this critical point, his goal is to lead business expansion and successful delivery of further disruptive solutions and technological advancement for renewables in the UK and beyond.
