Nadara is a leading renewable energy generator and Nextgen IPP committed to delivering sustainable impact and shared value. It owns and operates more than 200 energy sites across  Europe and the US, with over 4GW of installed capacity and a further 18GW under development.

Nadara used the Renewable Exchange platform to navigate a period of extreme market volatility and act quickly to capture the peak of the market - securing an incredibly attractive PPA and maximising available revenue.

Responding to elevated market prices caused by geopolitical events, Nadara launched a tender. In just a couple of days they received bids from a wide range of offtakers who were active despite the volatility. The leading bid came from a new entity for Nadara, broadening its pool of contracting partners.

The PPA was contracted via Renewable Exchange’s standard-form Lightning PPA, avoiding the need for protracted contract negotiations. The Lightning PPA can also be signed instantly via the platform - reducing transaction risk and mitigating against within-day volatility.

Following the execution of the PPA, Nadara can continue to track the available pricing via the platform’s PPA price insights - so they can again respond quickly when there is another market spike.

“At Nadara we are delighted to have worked in collaboration with Renewable Exchange to successfully tender and sign this latest PPA through the platform. Leveraging speed-of-execution through the Lightning PPA has allowed Nadara to operate swiftly within the market tendering the asset to multiple counterparties.”
